Grapes: 100% Verdicchio
Altitude: 430 m a.s.l.
Exposure: south west
Vineyard: 4 hectares
Soil: mainly clayey, with patches of sand, rich in limestone
Breeding: one and two-sided guyot
Yield per hectare: 75 quintals per hectare
Harvest: first week of October. Grapes harvested by hand in small boxes with selection.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates and processed quickly to preserve the unique characteristics of the fruit, respecting the territorial origins. The soft pressing guarantees respect for the aromas and natural acidity of the musts. Subsequently the static clarification of the must at 10° C for 24 hours and the fermentation are monitored daily.
Refinement: refinement in steel tanks for 9 months with frequent bâtonnage to keep the noble lees in suspension and limit the use of sulphites, then another 9 months of maturation in cement, refinement in the bottle for 7 months before being put on the market.
Alcohol content: 13% vol.

Description of the wine
Appearance: straw yellow
Fragrance: aromas of a certain complexity, which include among the most defined ripe grapefruit, white peach and chamomile.
Taste: On the palate the wine stands out more than on the nose; fresh aromas of apple, pear, ripe grapefruit and a note of bitter almond on the finish. A certain petillance, a marked minerality and a tactile creaminess, with a persistent finish, with a well-integrated alcohol content and a good balance between fruit and acidity make it a very elegant wine for any great occasion.
Pairings: Fish dishes from the Marche and Italian cuisine, medium-aged cheeses, white poultry meat.
